Case Studies
In celebration of 30 years of LEGO gaming, the LEGO Group sent me nearly 90 gaming sets from themes like Minecraft, Fortnite and Sonic the Hedgehog. I opted to create a short-form series comparing the physical sets to their digital counterparts in LEGO games, collaborations and limited-time events, alongside recreating every LEGO Minecraft set in-game. In total, the series netted a combined reach of over half a million views on all platforms.
With the upcoming arrival of a gigantic LEGO NINJAGO-themed update in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, the LEGO Group reached out to drive excitement for the new content in two shorts. Firstly, a showcase of the update covering the addition of a new island and three ninja skins now available in the Fortnite Item Shop, followed by an unboxing of a personalized gift which revealed my ninja element. These two pieces of content went on to reach over 24,000 total views exclusively on YouTube.
Humble Bundle held a massive sale offering 18 LEGO games, valued at over $400, for just $15, with a percentage of the proceeds going to charity. As a Humble Partner, I created five posts with graphics showcasing select games included in the bundle to share on my YouTube channel throughout the sale period. This approach led to over 30,000 impressions as well as hundreds of dollars in tracked purchases using my specific affiliate link.
